Brief Bio: I was born in San Antonio , Chile and raised in Santiago (the capital) until I got 15 years old. Then I back to my roots where all my family is and where I'm now.
Since I was a child I used to draw from walls , furnitures...till I meet the paper...^^. My first memories of drawing where spaceships of Star Wars...o_o, then I grew up with all the anime shows that opened my mind and the way I could see the whole world.

I grew up with Astroboy, Robotech, Saint Seiya (and the list it's too long...) along with videogmes...particularly with Street Fighter...even the Mutant Turtles...anyway, my likes were in search of manga and so I became a fanatic... But I discovered the comics here in my country were so few and so expensives to get...that I got fustrated ...so I started making my own stories when I was 12 years or something.

Before the manga culture I was fascinated with mytical creatures and horror type of movies... the years of Jason and Freddy and others likes An american Werewolf in Lond ..shocked me...and of course sci-fi type of movies like Robocop, Terminator , Superman, Back to the Future and such made of me a fan of all that kind of things at same I used to play a lot of videogames. So I began doing some action comics for me... they sucked a lot! XD

I was drawing for real... doing fan arts as an special hobby when I was 11 years old , I drew transformers specially for my firends who liked them , monsters (skulls, deamons, vampires...) as covers for rock groups who never existed :P...or for all the class parties.

With 19 years I met the internet (1997) and so my mind was opened again...not too long till I meet a community of art and friends who were doing draws just like myself, promoting his skills and sharing their drawings, so I began with the idea of making a website... and at same time I met new comics beign made in my country , I was shocked and I did all I could to participate on it. There was some poeple who were real good talents, and in the process to have the oportunity to publish I did some friends who are still with me. But I couldn't publish, because of lies and "problems" after 4 years of going and coming I just made an small publish with a rough comic made in 1 week in a fanzine, instead of a magazine... I never felt well. That comic was wrong printed and was something I made a year beforewhen the fanzine was released...that was not what I wanted to do.

1998- Out of school I started my first career :Graphic Design. I was playing with my ideas and "Luna" appeared in a paper (that time I called her "Lupina")...a werewolf girl, with great "kame hame ha- powers" and a black suit as an american super-hero.... big sucks!...but the character was some of my likes, a woman and a werewolf: all in one. I went back to the internet again when I got my first personal pc at home XD in 1999.

In the net I made more friends of my country who were doing arts and draws too in an Anime Forum. Some of them are now great ilustrators, animators, designers or others are just the same nice guys who I met with great arts and ideas. At same time I saw in the web "were-art" stuff...anthropomorphic art for others, tf art too.... "hey it's like my idea of Luna" and I saw many influences and good artists, so I decided to show myself to the community arround ...I was known as "LeoLooney"...and later "Lobo" or "Leo". As "ISamu" in my country (I was a fan of the Macross saga = ) or a mix of all of them.

And no... I couldn't become an artist student, because Chile isn't a place where you can live doing that, and no I would never felt good to be a foreigner guy looking for a job in a strange country. But with Design I learned enoguh and I made some websites and such in the past, with some friends we made an anime group and we created a big communituy of fans in my town... and I learned english in the way and we even did a tv show...there are some story there and here...but the time passed doing all that and time to time I went back with the werewolf-girl idea chaging the story and doing more characters more than once. I made the comic about 3 times before this...because I got tired, my draw changed drastically in the process or the story sucked...:P.

I started to work in 2001 in a Computer-Lab....where I'm still working..."the life". Now I dont know what life I have but I'm studying for beign a Teacher of language with english studies.., I just begun the last year...and so as an spine ...as dream that I had once "beign a comic artist" my soul cried when I realized that I was getting too old and there was a comic who I wanted to do once... and I needed to do it. This comic...no matter if it sound selfish, it's for me, to prove to myself that I could. And of course for the people who looked me as an artist too. But I always will look to the art of me as a hobby as my story, no more.

I wont ever be a pro artist I know that, I never decided to estudy art or ilustration because I just liked to draw and that's all :P. This is my hobby, something that you do with more passsion because you do it for you, for express my emotions through my characters, if I've show all my art all this time it's for share some of my feelings, that memory of my art-life I think will remain. Meanwhile I hope you be with me, sharing ...the journey of Luna and your fellow , Leonardo Vidal F.

The next of my story it's now...
